I started my journey as a young nipper, moving to London to chase the big-city dream. After studying Business and Data, I landed a graduate role at Anglia Ruskin and then moved into the fashion industry at the London College of Fashion. It was there that I discovered my true passion: helping others develop their skills and grow their careers. As a Careers Coach, I spent my early years providing students with the guidance they needed to open their first professional doors, a foundation I still use in my teaching methods today.

The Data Phase: Driven by natural curiosity, I transitioned into the world of Data in 2018. I spent the next five years as a Data and Business Analyst working on fantastic digital transformation projects with amazing people.

The German Phase: My wife and I always dreamt of big things. In 2021, we had the opportunity to move to Germany. It was scary; I had to leave a job I loved, learn a new language, and build a whole new career from scratch. But we have one motto: You only live once, and no regrets.

Moving to Berlin, I suddenly struggled to build the same deep professional relationships I had mastered in the UK. I felt the weight of the language barrier and the pressure of high-stakes environments with “no mercy” and sky-high expectations. I lived the reality of being a high-performer who felt a little “muted.”

During those years, I worked with Directors and C-level Executives who relied on my data and tenacity. I saw a recurring truth: Communication isn’t just about what you know; it’s about how you deliver it. In today’s world, it’s often not the smartest person who wins, but the one who can command the room with confidence.

I founded Swelyo to bridge that gap.

As a TEFL-certified coach with a background in business analytics, I bring a fresh approach to language. I believe in people. I work with you to achieve your goals, whatever they may be, and help you stay confident and in control of your mission.
